Accounts Payable: Process, input, and reconcile invoices and credit notes on SAGE 200, verifying VAT and authorizations. Maintain AP ledgers and spreadsheets, handle payment runs, and upload payments on HSBCnet. Supplier & Customer Relations: Communicate with suppliers, send customer statements, and issue intercompany invoices. Documentation & Compliance: Archive accounts documents, manage staff credit card expenses, and assist with VAT/EC Sales returns. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare commission reports, conduct monthly reconciliations, and generate reports from ERP systems. Support & Administration: Assist with account openings, MIS reconciliation, fixed asset register maintenance, and other ad-hoc tasks. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally up to Trial Balance. AAT qualfied OR Part-qualified in ACCA, IAB, ACA, CIMA, orsimilar bookkeeping or finance qualifications, or a degree in finance. Strong knowledge of SAGE 200 and Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs). Familiarity with control accounts, reconciliations, and credit control. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
