Purpose: The Deichmann store, based within The Potteries Shopping Centre, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a Store Manager to join our busy store. You will have previous experience of working as a Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting. You must be able to problem solve and think on your feet. Alongside this, you will be a people person, have the ability to plan and coordinate resources, and be passionate about the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Key Activities:
1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
2. Lead by example in promoting and recommending complimentary shoe care products, demonstrating confidence with selling and excellent product knowledge, ensuring the very best level of customer service.
3. Stock management.
4. Analysing and interpreting sales performance data and reports.
5. Making recommendations for ways to improve sales performance, based on analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and identification of customer insights.
6. Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, i.e., merchandising, admin.
7. Delivery of all KPIs, meeting all company standards.
8. Recruitment and training of the team.
Qualifications:
1. Already demonstrating a superior level of performance within their own store, the successful candidate will have the right mix of managerial and technical aptitudes in order to drive performance.
2. A hands-on leader, with experience working as a Retail Store Manager.
3. A positive flexible approach with a can-do attitude.
4. Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to work under pressure in a demanding fast-paced environment.
5. Have the confidence and ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the team.
6. Highly numerate.
7. Attention to detail.
8. Good communicator.
9. Be methodical, organized, and have a structured approach to work.
10. Be fully flexible across the week.
Salary: The salary for this role is £30,000 + the potential to earn commission and bonuses.
