Transactional Construction Associate or Senior Associate | 2+ PQE | Leeds with hybrid working
A highly regarded national firm seeks an ambitious Construction Associate or Senior Associate, specialising in non-contentious matters to join their growing team in Leeds. This role presents an excellent opportunity to play a key part in some of the country's most significant construction projects with plenty of scope for early responsibility with key clients, many of which are household names.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Leeds office continues to move from strength to strength since opening, achieving significant growth both in terms of size and revenue. As a result of this continued growth and increase in client instructions, the construction team are looking to welcome a non-contentious construction lawyer to their friendly and collegiate team. The national construction team has an outstanding client base, acting for developers, occupiers, funders, construction professionals, contractors and specialists on managing and resolving risks in building and engineering projects.
You will join a market-leading team that has advised on some of the country's most significant projects including infrastructure projects, commercial/residential schemes, town centre redevelopments, urban regeneration schemes, portfolio acquisition/disposal projects and process plants. This role presents an unparalleled opportunity to be involved in the highest quality work, with plenty of scope for early responsibility.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
1. Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE.
2. A strong background in a wide range of transactional construction matters.
3. A clear communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
4. Clear, articulate and confident in written and verbal communication skills.
5. Willing to take part in business development.
6. A strong commercial acumen.
OTHER INFORMATION
* Competitive salary c.£62k upwards depending on experience.
* Hybrid working, usually 2 days in the office per week.
