Parkhead Primary and ELC is looking for an excellent teacher who can demonstrate high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment within their practice.
Parkhead Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the communities of West Calder, Polbeth, and the surrounding farming areas. The school is part of the West Calder High School Cluster and maintains a strong collegiate relationship with its cluster schools.

We currently have 15 classes and an ELC setting with a school roll of 404 pupils. We benefit from a committed and supportive team of staff, including teachers, early years practitioners, pupil support staff, and office staff. Our senior leadership team consists of a Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, and Principal Teacher. Staff demonstrate strong collegiality and teamwork, which maintains and enhances a positive climate for learning across the school.
A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential.
