We are looking for a Unit Manager to oversee the Theatre Café at Exmouth Pavilion—a vibrant hub of hospitality and entertainment
in a stunning seafront location.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Unit Manager, you will lead the Theatre Café team, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and strong
commercial performance. You will play a key role in developing new ideas to drive business growth while creating a warm and
inviting environment for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee the daily operations of the Theatre Café, maintaining high standards in service, food quality, and hygiene.
* Lead and inspire a team, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
* Take ownership of the café’s financial and commercial performance, working closely with senior management.
* Implement and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Develop innovative ideas to drive revenue and enhance customer experiences.
* Manage stock, suppliers, and costs to maximise profitability.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone with:
✅ Proven experience in hospitality – at least 18 months in a management role within an F&B business, bar, café, or restaurant.
✅ A passion for great food and service – with a customer-first approach.
✅ Strong leadership skills – ability to motivate, train, and develop a high-performing team.
✅ Commercial awareness – understanding of financial performance, cost control, and driving sales.
✅ Excellent communication skills – confident in liaising with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
✅ Commitment to high standards – ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
DESIRABLE:
✔ Personal Licence and Level 3+ Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to obtain).
✔ Hospitality qualification (NVQ, Diploma, or Degree).
✔ Experience managing events and marketing F&B services.
✔ Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
