This role is based in Glasgow
Our hybrid working means you are required to be in the office 3 days per week.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our small team of mobile app developers and testers, in the UK.
You will be involved in the full development lifecycle from planning, defining, designing, building, testing and deployment. As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for managing tasks assigned to them throughout our two-week sprint cycles. Collaborative working is important to us therefore you must have good communication skills and contribute to discussions in each phase of the development lifecycle. You'll be diligent together with taking immense pride in your work which will, in turn, result in meeting our customer's requirements.

You'll have the following responsibilities
• Collaboratively work with manager, developers and testers to better understand the task assigned to you
• Undertake acceptance criteria phase on each new user story assigned to you, considering both 'happy' and 'unhappy' user journeys
• Consider all user journeys associated with a particular bug and test accordingly before finishing assigned task
• Conform to the team's way of working following our convention of branching and code quality standards
• Writing code that is extensible to facilitate future requirements
• Make effort to keep up with ever evolving technologies

Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
o Proficient in developing mobile applications using cross-platform framework Xamarin and/or MAUI
o Proficient in programming language, C#
o Proficient with Git
o Understand the .NET Core ecosystem
Nice to have :
o Experience in SaaS platform such as Azure DevOps
o Creating UX designs using Adobe Suite or equivalent
o Have experience in developing web applications
o Experience with RESTful web services
o Experience in Desktop development
o Experience in UNIT testing
Experience:
o 2+ years of experience in software development
o Experience in adhering to Agile development methodology
Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solver
o Excellent communicator
o Have a willingness to learn and contribute to the team
o Can manage expectations of working in a fast-paced environment
