Based within the council’s Business and Digital function, we are looking for a dynamic, confident and highly motivated individual to support the Contracts and Finance team. In this role you will provide support for the procurement of hardware and software installations for council services. This will include the raising of service request tickets, offering advice and guidance, and preparing management information on the types and trends of service requests.
You must have knowledge of computer systems including experience of MS Office products as well as good organisational and communication skills.
You will prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines and support the Contracts & Finance Manager to prioritise the workload of the administration team.
You should have relevant experience, preferably in technical support delivery. An SVQ3/HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
Working within the Contracts and Finance Team for North Lanarkshire Council you will have the flexibility of our hybrid work model, blending homeworking with time spent at our Civic Centre and Civic Square offices in Motherwell.
