What skills and experience we're looking for
Working as an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the school and take responsibility for the operational management of finances. Leading the team of support staff, you will ensure the day-to-day effective management of human resources, catering, health & safety, site and premises and educational visits. Your role will include management of finances, including preparing and monitoring the budgets, operating and maintaining the financial procedures systems, working closely with auditors and finance committee members of the Governing Body and preparing reports for Governors.
Key to this role will be your previous experience of providing high level administrative support, budgetary management, and leading and motivating a team. You will have substantial knowledge of management practice and legislation relating to finance, payroll and a comprehensive understanding of health and safety, safeguarding and safer recruitment.
