* Who we’re looking for: An experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with a demonstrable passion for automation and collaboration, as well as a deep understanding of AWS and EKS
* The challenge: To ensure our platform can scale rapidly and reliably, working with Engineers to simplify their experience and supporting with the transformation of a new product area
* Where you’ll work: This role can be based in our Hove or London office, our HQ is in Hove so regular attendance here will be required

Day to day this role will
* Manage and continuously optimize Tillo's cloud infrastructure to improve performance, scalability, security and cost-efficiency
* Operate Container Orchestration Solutions (Kubernetes / EKS)
* Build and manage CI/CD pipelines
* Design, build and manage Infrastructure as Code
* Work in an agile way following DevOps principles
* Manage disaster recovery, monitoring and alerting
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Platform team members
* Mentor Platform and Software engineers on best practices
We’re looking for strong experience with
* AWS as a Cloud Provider, particularly managing EKS workload
* Writing Infrastructure as Code (ideally in Pulumi)
* Linux and bash
* Deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes
* Working in the PHP and/or Python ecosystems
* Communicating the benefits of DevOps practices such as Agile ways of working, theory of constraints, and SLO-based monitoring
* Collaboration and working with development teams to improve their ways of working, especially regarding monitoring, alerting, CI, and CD
* Communicating and influencing
* Git / source control
* Working in a fast-scaling business, and embracing the changes and challenges this brings
It’s not essential, but we’d love to hear about it if you have experience with
* Go and Typescript development best practices
* Provisioning and administrating Windows Servers and VMs
* Provisioning and managing SQL Server and Azure SQL databases
* Managing Windows Active Directory
