R13 are partnering with a reputable housing business in the recruitment of a Planner to join them on a 3-month temp assignment which will then become a 9-month fixed term contract, starting ASAP, to cover maternity leave.
Based in Bury St Edmunds, you will be working 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and be offered an hourly rate of £14.55. As a member of the planning team, you will schedule repairs and maintenance with engineers, liaise with external subcontractors where needed and provide support to customers.
The day to day
1. Liaising with customers to schedule repairs/maintenance jobs.
2. Contacting subcontractors for work that cannot be completed in-house.
3. Utilising the system and planner dashboard with widgets to manage outstanding jobs and identify potential rebooking needs.
4. Handling incoming calls from customers, updating them on more complex repairs and handling any complaints.
5. Handling written work, phone calls, and perform clerical/administrative tasks associated with supporting the planning team.
You will have/be
1. Previous experience in a planning and logistics position.
2. Significant customer service experience with strong telephone manner.
3. IT proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Package, including Excel.
4. Excellent communication and organisation skills.
5. Good problem-solving skills.
