Duties - Working as part of a busy team on a regular rota, on early bake shifts and afternoon prep shifts. - Making croissant and yeasted doughs, cakes and pastries. - Laminating croissant and puff pastry. - Maintaining a clean and tidy environment in the bakery and your workstation, in line with health and safety requirements. - Decorating cakes and pastries to a high standard. - Shaping breads, pastries and doughs. - Making custards and other pastry components. - Learning new skills and techniques as part of our constantly developing range. Requirements - Experience of working in a busy bakery or pastry kitchen. - Experience with viennoiserie, including croissant lamination. - High level of skill in decorating and finishing cakes, pastries and savouries. - Have a good understanding of doughs and fermentation. - Adaptable and enthusiastic about learning new skills as part of a creative team. - Ability to be a team player with a positive attitude.
