Position: Support Team Leader Location: Middlesbrough Salary: From £30,000 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call 1-2 times per month We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Support Team Leader to join our Middlesbrough-based service, overseeing a team of 20 staff members. This service supports individuals with mental health challenges and learning disabilities, ensuring a fully staffed and structured environment for gradual occupancy. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Lead, motivate, and manage a frontline support team, ensuring high-quality care and support. ✔ Provide hands-on leadership, working within the rota and offering local on-call support. ✔ Mentor and develop staff, overseeing training and induction processes. ✔ Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and external stakeholders. ✔ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, conducting assessments and corrective actions as needed. ✔ Manage budgets and resources efficiently to meet service demands. ✔ Maintain clear and effective communication across the team and key stakeholders. Essential Requirements: ✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards it). ✔ Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within health and social care. ✔ Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. ✔ Understanding of regulatory requirements for mental health and learning disabilities. ✔ Excellent communication and IT proficiency. ✔ Full UK driving licence with business use insurance.
