Pay for the Analytical Chemist:
£14.36 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week. Core hours 10am to 3pm

Loughborough
Overview:
We are looking for skilled and passionate graduates to join this wonderful organisation. You will document analytical testing and ensure the quality of data delivered is fit for purpose and where the customer is core.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct and document analytical testing following cGMP requirements, delivering to plan on time and in full.
2. Ensure the quality of data delivered is fit for purpose while working in a fast, flexible environment, with a strong focus on right first time.
3. Resolve technical problems by examination and evaluation of data and progression of laboratory investigations.
4. Professionally represent the department as and when required, when interacting with both internal and external customers and regulators.
5. Establish continuous improvement as part of everyday work.
Knowledge & Skills:
1. Testing and/or knowledge of pressurised metered dose inhalers is preferable.
2. Good understanding of GMP and GLP.
3. Knowledge of analytical chemistry and its practical application.
4. Working knowledge of HPLC.
5. Working knowledge of other analytical instrumentation, preferably GC, MS, UPLC, and UV.
6. Understanding basic statistics is desirable.
7. Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Strong verbal and numerical aptitude skills.
9. Good communication skills.
10. Strong team player with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications:
Ideally a degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline with practical laboratory elements (or equivalent) or relevant previous experience.
