Job summary Bridgewater PCN has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and innovative pharmacy technician to join our team. You will be based at Bridgewater Surgery but required to travel between all of the practice sites. This role is offered on a full time basis. The successful candidate will benefit from the opportunity to build up strong working relationships, across our organisation, and will be actively involved in how their role evolves over time. Main duties of the job Developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe, effective and efficient prescribing within the PCN. Supporting the reception and administration teams, at our member practices, with complex medication queries. Supporting the GP partners on prescribing projects and cost/safety audits and actions. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registered pharmacy technician with the GPhC. Diploma Level 3 in pharmacy services, or equivalent. Experience Essential Strong experience in either a community pharmacy or a primary care setting. Confident in analysing and presenting information to health professionals. Experience of implementing and promoting cost-effective strategies. Ability to interpret complex clinical information and present it in suitable formats, to a variety of people from professional and non-professional backgrounds.
