Salary: £23,800 - £26,800

About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Children's Worker to join our team in Hampshire. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people, helping them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
• Develop positive relationships with children, offering emotional and practical support.
• Encourage and assist children in their personal development, education, and independence.
• Support children in daily activities, including meal preparation, outings, and household tasks.
• Work as part of a team to create a structured and therapeutic environment.
• Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed to promote the welfare of the children.
• Keep accurate records and contribute to care plans.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar care setting (preferred but not essential).
• A caring, patient, and resilient nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• A relevant qualification in childcare or social care (or willingness to work towards one).
• A full UK driving licence (preferred).
