The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School. In February 2020, the school was judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in all areas.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Art able to teach across the age and ability range Year 7 to Year 13. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to teach 3D Design.
We welcome applications from teachers who feel they have the ability, enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the lives of students at our Academy; someone who has a true passion for Art as well as the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students ensuring all achieve their full potential. This post will be suitable for both experienced teachers or ECTs as support is available within the department.
