Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEMH students. Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment rooted in mutual respect. Implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively and support emotional regulation. Collaborate with a multi-agency team to remove barriers to learning and promote student well-being. Use assessment tools to evaluate progress and tailor future teaching plans. Actively participate in staff meetings, training, and the overall School Improvement Plan. Foster positive partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Knowledge of effective strategies for working with SEMH students. Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desirable: Experience teaching at KS3-4 and a track record of achieving good or better teaching outcomes. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
