A world-class, global manufacturing company at the forefront of technology is currently seeking Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join their team. The role involves working on a shift basis of 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off, with rotating days and nights. Delivering vital facilities maintenance services across the site is a key part of this position, supporting the manufacturing department and other divisions. It is essential that candidates can carry out responsibilities and tasks efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Perform fault finding and rectification on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
* Conduct and record both planned preventative maintenance and unplanned maintenance on facilities plant and equipment.
* Monitor facilities systems routinely.
* Take ownership of assigned areas and proactively implement improvements.
Experience and Skills:
* ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a time-served apprenticeship with formal craft qualification (3+ years).
* Fault finding and repairs in electrical/mechanical systems.
* Strong engineering background with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
* Experience with plant and equipment commissioning and decommissioning.
* Understanding of cleanroom principles (desirable).
* Ability to work shifts - days and nights rotating fortnightly, with 4 or 3-day weeks (rotating weekly).
