ABOUT THE ROLE
PHD Global Business is looking for a Global Strategy Director to define next level excellence in media & comms planning for our premium automotive client - Audi. The role will report into and work closely with the Global Business Lead, as well as with digital and market engagement experts. You will lead a small team of passionate senior strategists to develop and land industry-leading media & comms solutions, underpinned by a strong partnership with local market agency teams. The key job is to create exceptional strategic thought leadership work and planning blueprints, strengthen global media planning consistency and foster strong relationships with clients, markets, and partners.
The role will be key in advancing our client’s strategic vision and translating it into clear-cut test & learn roadmaps at the forefront of progress in media and marketing tech. It comes with lead responsibility for delivering successful executive client meetings and requires proficiency in a wide range of marketing fields to effectively orchestrate our ever-evolving network capabilities in service of our client’s business growth.
A deep understanding of the client’s business and the overall automotive category is key. We value a strong leadership mentality, collaboration mindset and ability to inspire peers. The role will furthermore see you co-shaping the strategic output of the agency PHD Global via a vibrant network of collaborating strategists.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for an experienced global media strategist that also has expertise and/or experience working in digital media and data led planning/strategy. You will likely have solid experience in media planning and/or associated business fields and comfortable with marketing research and omnichannel media planning with a focus on Digital media & mar-tech
An independent self-starter you will be able to quickly establish credible relationships with senior clients and creative agency counterparts to effectively position PHD (and Omnicom) as a valued strategic partner.
Our role is to deliver consistence excellence of the Brand Strategy through all touchpoints and markets. The person will also need to have a strategic mindset to shape paid, owned and earned consumer journeys. Defining each of the different channels and audiences that will be recommended at a global level will also need suggestions on the message theme. So that the ad agency has a prompt on what to focus the creative teams to create.
