Automotive Curriculum Developer
Location: East Midlands (with occasional travel to Derby)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Curriculum Developer to design and improve training programmes for the automotive and heavy vehicle sectors. You’ll work closely with industry partners and educators to create high-quality learning materials and ensure they meet industry and educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and review curriculum content for automotive and heavy vehicle training programmes.
2. Ensure materials align with national standards and emerging industry trends.
3. Create learning resources and assessment materials.
4. Support lecturers and assessors in delivering the curriculum.
5. Maintain quality standards and compliance with educational frameworks.
6. Travel occasionally to Derby for meetings and collaborations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. Strong experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
2. Proven track record in curriculum development or training design.
3. Understanding of educational frameworks and assessment strategies.
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
1. Teaching or assessor qualifications (PGCE, A1/V1 Awards).
2. Degree or equivalent in Automotive Engineering or related field.
3. Knowledge of apprenticeship standards in the automotive sector.
