FEEDBACK FROM DR HUMPHRIES ABOUT WORKING AT HARLEY THERAPY (2008-2024):
Prior to joining Harley Therapy, I had worked in the NHS for 28 years as a Consultant Psychiatrist from 1991. What I have found is that working privately allows much more time for concentration on clinical work, without so many of the non-clinical duties associated with the NHS role. It is more of, in effect, what I was originally trained to do, which was to see patients and try to make them function better. I have found private practice extremely rewarding in that respect.
