Job Description: Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Position Overview: An Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional who delivers advanced clinical care, often in collaboration with physicians, to patients across various healthcare settings. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and providing health education. ANPs often work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and provide high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients, including taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state or region of practice. Certification: Certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a specific specialty (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, etc.).
