What you'll do
As a Senior Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts, and minimising credit risk to the company.
6. Maintain the debt ledger across one or more operating entities, ensuring customers adhere to agreed payment terms
7. Process customer payments accurately and promptly
8. Proactively resolve price mismatches, quantity disputes, and promotional invoice queries
9. Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments and resolve any queries
10. Collaborate with the sales team on held orders due to customers reaching their credit limits or having overdue debt
11. Raise credit notes with appropriate authorisation and maintain detailed account notes for reporting
12. Provide cover for colleagues as needed
13. Assist the management team with ad hoc requests
About you
14. At least 3 years credit control experience
15. Previous FMCG experience
16. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
17. Excellent communication skills with team members and senior stakeholders
18. Adaptable and flexible to meet with demands
