We support adults in various settings such as residential, nursing, support, and clinical facilities with daily tasks such as personal cares, companionship, and other complex needs. As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to aid and support individuals dealing with learning differences and complex mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being, independence, and recovery of clients. This role requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health issues.

The Key Responsibilities of the Job Role:
1. Provide one-to-one support and supervision to individuals.
2. Aid all service users in need of assistance.
3. Promote independence to residents with day-to-day decisions (clothing, bathing, choices of food, etc.).
4. Work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes.
6. Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
7. Work closely in a holistic approach to care.
8. Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families.
9. Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare system.
10. Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress.
11. Implement crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
12. Coordinate with emergency services when required.
13. Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities (cinema, appointments, etc.).
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
1. MAPPA/NAPPI/RRIT (BILD accredited training provider).
2. A minimum of 3 years employment history (Must have a minimum of 6 months UK care experience).
3. The right to work in the UK.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A passion to support and care for others.
6. A drive to learn and develop.
7. Flexibility to work.
8. Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously.
10. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations.

14. Excellent timekeeping skills.
15. Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach to working with individuals with mental health challenges.
