Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will maintain the following duties and should have the following skillset:
Essential background needed:
* Recent team leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and analyse production schedules to organise and prioritise workloads
* Familiarity with ERP systems and how to implement them into a production process
* Strong understanding of health and safety standards (IOSH qualification preferred).
* Proven ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Knowledge of working with a wide range of materials
* Experience working in lean manufacturing and ISO9001-certified facilities.
Your Main Duties as Manufacturing Operations Supervisor:
* Generate and manage work-orders, acting as the main communication channel between warehouse and sales on all production orders.
* Lead and manage the production teams to maintain stock levels and on-time delivery (OTIF).
* Maintain, develop and enforce health and safety policies, including risk and COSHH assessments.
* Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques.
* Manage attendance, overtime and performance, providing training and mentoring to create a multi-skilled workforce.
* Maintain 6S housekeeping standards and ensure smooth material flow to operators.
* Manage stock levels of raw manufacturing components in cohesion with the purchasing team.
* Work closely with the warehouse teams providing regular updates on output, quality, and EHS to the Operations Manager.

* Full time, salaried position
* Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
