Required Skills & Experience:
* Good understanding of satellite communication networks, systems, and propagation.
* Knowledge of VSAT, Ka band, L Band, and C bands.
* Familiarity with digital communication networks, protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing), and architecture (routers, switches, firewalls).
Responsibilities:
* Proactively respond to alarms and minimize service outages.
* Perform necessary actions to restore service during degradation or outage conditions.
* Escalate incidents as per procedures and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
* Conduct regular checks on systems and services to ensure reliability.
* Monitor distress traffic in the network and take immediate action if needed.
* Identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by presenting ideas and creating efficient operational and technical processes.
* Provide support, coaching, and training to other engineers and teams.
Salary & Benefits:
* Up to 53,000 EURO Gross per annum.
* 20% Shift allowance + 10.5% bonus.
