We are working with a global manufacturing business based in North Manchester who are looking to expand their Demand Planning team, they are operating at a world class standard across their supply chain function and are looking for someone who wants to embed themselves in a lean, process driven team. Demand Planner - The Job: Continuously reviews the Sales/Production forecast of defined portfolio of a country or a group of countries on short, mid, and long term, in quantity and value. Orders items from production sites, suppliers, and co-packers, and follows up deliveries in order to fulfil the sales/production plan in timing and quantities. Communicates, manages, and solves actual and potential supply issues. Maintains and periodically reviews planning master data in SAP and IPB to implement adequate forecasting model, replenishment, and stock strategies. Responsible to achieve agreed SFD, stock levels and CSL, monitors ICSL, SSL for the defined portfolio. Coordinates co-packing activities with main focus on availability, saving costs, production schedule and raw material replenishment. Ensures the sales forecast input from other department is on time and accurate (promotions, launches, delisting) Continuously improves operational efficiency (process improvements, new SCM solutions, support to central tenders).
