This is an exciting opportunity to join the Postgraduate Research College (PGRC) as the PGRC Culture and Environment Coordinator to provide high quality administrative leadership for institutional initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive research culture and environment for researchers at all levels, with a primary focus on PGR.
This post is also required to provide leadership for regulatory compliance for PGR students and includes developing timelines, frameworks and delegating responsibility for the issuing of review exercises. Additionally, this post is responsible for working closely with associated teams, eg Student Experience, Student Support, wider Research and Innovation and EDI team to provide guidance, web content and written content tailored for a PGR audience for events (eg orientation), activities and student communications.
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual with the ability to use initiative, demonstrate creativity, with exceptional attention to detail. You will have an understanding of research culture and the PGR journey and demonstrate genuine interest for the research community. You should also possess relevant experience in an administrative role, ideally with knowledge of University systems.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £32,296 - £35,880 per annum, with placement according to qualifications and experience.
