Job overview
Yorkshire Ambulance Service: Ancillary Services Team, are offering an opportunity for 12.5 hours per week, Premise Cleaner at our Admin/Response building.
* Monday - Friday (2.5 hours per shift)
* Agreed fixed times either 7am - 9.30am or 5pm - 7.30pm
Working days and times are dependent upon provision required, due to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service being a 24/7 Emergency Service.
Allocated Bank Holiday working may be required.
A very basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory to this role, prior to any unconditional offer of employment.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include Station/Site Cleaning:
* Cleaning, decontamination, and associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control measures.
* Ensuring activities are performed in line with Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules.
* Achieving and maintaining required standards of cleanliness across the organization, including various areas such as washrooms, kitchens, offices, etc.
* Maintaining adequate stocks of cleaning materials and recording daily activities.
* Basic IT skills for accessing and inputting information (e.g., emails and timesheets).

Experience
* Previous workplace premise cleaning experience within the last two years.
Personal/Other
* Ability to work individually or as a team.
* Willingness to undertake role-specific training.
* Flexibility to work out of hours.
* Current ‘B’ Class driving Licence valid in the UK.
Qualifications / Knowledge
* Good literacy and numerical skills.
* Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety, COSHH, Risk Assessments.
* Basic IT Skills.
