Assurance Manager \n\nSalary: £49,000 per annum (pro-rata)\n Hours: 22.5 hours per week (flexible)\n Contract Type: Fixed Term until March 2026\n Location: Remote, with occasional travel to London (approx. 8 times per year)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assurance Manager to support financial reconciliation and assurance processes for a major grant fund supporting youth services. This role will focus on ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting of grant expenditure.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssurance and Audit:\n\nSupport the financial assurance and audit process.\nProvide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on findings and progress.Financial Reconciliation & Reporting:\n\nCoordinate with the finance team to support internal audits.\nAssist with fiscal year reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.\nProvide analysis on actual versus planned capital and revenue expenditure.Query Resolution:\n\nAddress finance-related queries from key stakeholders, including auditors and government departments.\nEnsure timely and accurate responses to compliance and assurance requests.Stakeholder Support & Coordination:\n\nAssist Relationship Managers with financial reconciliation processes.\nLiaise with grantees to resolve financial discrepancies.\nWork collaboratively with finance and administration teams to ensure accurate reporting.General Administration & Continuous Improvement:\n\nSupport workflow management and process improvements.\nContribute to continuous learning and best practices within the organisation.\nSupport efforts to embed equality, diversity, and inclusion in daily activities.\n\nAbout You\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nExperience in financial assurance, audit, or reconciliation.\nStrong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (ideally Salesforce).\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.\nA keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nPlease submit your CV and Covering Letter.
