Job Summary
We are seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their development in a nurturing environment.
Duties
1. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for children
2. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
3. Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities
4. Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment
5. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
6. Assist in managing daily routines and transitions within the nursery setting
Requirements
1. Experience working with children
2. Strong leadership skills to guide and engage with children effectively
3. Proficiency in English to communicate with children, parents, and staff members
4. Knowledge of childcare practices and early childhood education principles
5. Must have level 2 or level 3 childcare qualification
6. Ability to drive may be advantageous for certain nursery activities

Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
