This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and motivated educator to work with pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties (SLD), and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). About the Role:
* Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with diverse SEND requirements.
* Work closely with support staff, therapists, and school leaders to create inclusive and nurturing learning experiences.
* Differentiate instruction to ensure pupils of all abilities can access the curriculum and make progress.
* Develop and implement individual learning plans (EHCPs), ensuring pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
* Foster a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment, using a variety of sensory and communication strategies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with ASD, SLD, or PMLD.
* A passion for inclusive education and a strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies.
* Excellent classroom management skills with a nurturing and patient approach.
* The ability to work collaboratively with LSAs, therapists, and families to provide holistic support.
