Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (Specialist Lending), you’ll drive effectiveness and efficiencies within the function to achieve strategic goals and priorities. You’ll prioritise, scope and develop strategic initiatives supporting with implementation and the planning of projects. Liaising with key stakeholders across the business you’ll ensure effective interfaces and ways of working You will also: Own the overall coordination of the strategy, track progress and support the CCO-SL to bring to fruition. Identify and prioritise additions, enhancements and variations to our offerings in UK and Ireland Engage key stakeholders in marketing to ensure alignment with the overall strategy Ensure productive resource planning based of sales forecasts Be the primary interface with Customer Experience / Business Excellence and Tech Product teams, establishing a clear roadmap of proposition enhancement. Establish the effectiveness of sales and support teams through reporting of performance Lead all business performance management and target setting, MI and reporting on commercial performance. Drive sales capability through working effectively with L&D Ensure appropriate governance and identification of common problems, facilitating resolution of key challenges. To be successful as our Sales Enablement Director, you’ll have experience within a similar role, supporting a Chief Commercial Officer. You’ll have demonstrable experience of distilling messages to ‘tell the story’, creating engaging presentations, management reports and board packs. You’ll be highly strategic and commercially astute, capable and willing to drive up performance management standards The ability to prioritise actions across teams that will deliver commercial results You’ll be an effective collaborator, bringing people along a journey and balancing structure with emotional intelligence. You’ll have a demonstrable track record of delivering improvements in a sales context. Experience of budgeting, reporting and forecasting Experience within the financial services industry would be beneficial.
