AREA SALES MANAGER - CAPITAL EQUIPMENT / LABELLING SOLUTIONS
SOUTH WEST ENGLAND
Salary: £40-45K + Uncapped Commission + Company Car + Workplace Pension
Our client, a global leader in labelling solutions, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to maintain and develop relationships with existing customers. Ultimately this position is a mix of new business and managing existing but realistically the role will focus on account management during the first year, with minimal new business expectations until full product training is completed.
Territory:
* The South West region, covering Bristol to Oxford and down to Bournemouth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Support and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and repeat business.
* Conduct customer site surveys to fully understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
* Product Knowledge: Undertake comprehensive training to gain in-depth knowledge of the company's product range.
* Identify areas of new business growth and target accordingly.
* Collaborate with internal teams and attend occasional visits to the parent company in Europe.
* Operational Excellence: Provide accurate and timely reports on territory performance.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
* Capable of managing existing accounts with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and holds a full UK driving licence.
Preferred Experience:
* Background in labelling or capital equipment in print, or packaging sales is ideal, but engineering graduates may be considered for a junior role.
