Vacancy – Machine Operative
ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ a Production Operative to work with one of our clients as part of a small production team.
Duties for the role:
• Responsible for running machines ensuring the process runs smoothly and monitor any equipment issues
• Transferring larger rolls of 2000m in length to 50m or 25m
• Adding adhesive/butyl to the newly cut length of rolls
• Inspect the product, check for defects, product dimensions and quality control to ensure it meets the necessary standards prior to despatch
• General warehouse duties moving and managing stock
• Use of lifting equipment on site
• Manually lifting 15-20kg
• Adhering to health and safety standards on site
The successful candidate:
• Have ability to follow instructions
• Show attention to detail
• Respectful
• Willing to learn (potential for Forklift training)
