Business Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team as part of our Microsoft cloud-first solutions business. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships, driving sales, optimizing internal processes and achieving results while working closely with department heads and their clients to deliver innovative Microsoft Cloud based solutions. This role requires an individual with the ability to work independently with limited supervision, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities both within our existing clients as well as new client base, using the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Business Central, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and related services.
2. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored Microsoft Cloud focused solutions.
3. Assist the firm in retaining existing and gaining new Microsoft Solution Partner solution designations.
4. Develop relevant content (articles, case studies, focused marketing) for distribution via the firm’s website and social media accounts.
5. Work with our distribution partners in developing new opportunities to benefit the client base.
6. Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
7. Collaborate with technical teams to scope and present solutions that align with client requirements.
8. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations for existing and prospective clients.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft technologies and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
10. Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on sales pipeline and performance to senior management.
11. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and partner engagements.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL
Essential requirements for this position are as follows:
* Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Business Central, Power Platform, and Azure.
* Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Degree in Business or Technology related field, or equivalent experience in the Microsoft ecosystem.
* A positive, results-oriented attitude with a focus on achieving targets and delivering value.
REQUIREMENTS - DESIRED
The following desired requirements would also be advantageous:
* Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure obtained within the last two years.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
* Familiarity with Document Management, CRM and ERP systems.
* Experience gathering client requirements and participating in solution reviews.
* Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and partner ecosystems.
