As an Apprentice, you will be enrolled in a blended learning programme where you will gain an NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance through a mixture of on-the-job experience and block release training through a leading training provider.
Here at Lynch, our Apprenticeship Programme covers all the essential skills and principles you will need to become a Plant Mechanic, and you'll learn how to service and repair machines and equipment, including replacing parts and checking and calibrating instruments. You'll also study everything from basic engineering skills to the latest technological advancements in electro-hydraulics and computerised control systems.
From Us: L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage Limited have an exciting opportunity for you to start your career in construction, as a Plant Fitter Apprentice with a nationally recognised industry leader. The scheme will be set out over two years, and by the end, you will be a Qualified Plant Fitter.
What you'll be doing: As a Lynch Apprentice, you will split your time between learning at a training college and working on real plant machinery in our Southern Depot. You will be familiarised with a range of machines and learn how to maintain and repair the equipment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Fitters.
