Our client a large Public Sector organisation is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. If you have a strong background in employee relations, attendance management, and HR policy development, we want to hear from you What You Will Do: As an HRBP, you will provide expert HR support to business functions, working closely with managers to deliver effective people solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing professional HR advice on grievances, discipline, dignity at work, and attendance management. Leading employee relations activity, ensuring fair and consistent implementation of HR policies. Working with management to implement attendance management and well-being initiatives. Advising on employment law, policies, and best practices. Managing and coordinating HR projects and policy development. Developing and delivering HR learning and development programs. Collaborating with trade unions and other key stakeholders. Representing HR in hearings, appeals, and industrial tribunals when required. To be successful in this role, you will need: A Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management (or equivalent Level 7 qualification). CIPD Membership at Associate level or above (or the ability to obtain within one year of starting). 3 years of experience in HR, advising senior management on complex employee relations issues. Experience in at least four of the following five HR areas: Managing Attendance Managing Grievance and/or Dignity at Work cases Managing Disciplinary cases Developing HR Policies & Procedures Delivering HR projects in support of business objectives Desirable Skills: Chartered CIPD Membership (MCIPD or above). Experience in mediation and dispute resolution. HR experience within local government or the public sector. Experience working with trade unions.
