Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Electrician to join their growing team. This role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and commission fire alarm and emergency lighting systems to BS 5839 and BS 5266 standards.
2. Carry out fault-finding, repairs, and upgrades to existing systems.
3. Conduct periodic inspections and testing in compliance with regulations.
4. Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and health & safety requirements.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience in fire alarm and emergency lighting installation and maintenance.
2. 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, Gold ECS Card and 2391.
3. Previous experience in a similar role (commercial or industrial sectors).
4. Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
