Role responsibilities
1. Receive and check supplier deliveries and put in the correct bin locations
2. Pick, pack and label orders ready for despatch
3. Organise delivery notes into route order and assist in loading vehicle accordingly
4. Receipt goods in via the company back office system
5. Log proof of delivery via the company tracking system
6. Quality check print/promo goods and manpack clothing where required
7. Assist with the assembly of furniture orders and book in with relevant departments
8. Keep the warehouse clean and tidy and adhere to Health & Safety and fire regulations
9. Conduct company stock takes
10. Multidrop deliver items to the clients specified delivery points, whilst always delivering a high level of customer service as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and picking & packing tasks
2. A can-do attitude, plenty of enthusiasm, and the ability to think outside of the box
3. The drive to deliver high standards of customer care at all times and have an understanding of the order to fulfilment cycle and its impact
4. Computer literacy
5. A valid driving license
Summary
The role will be to ensure our clients receive accurate and professional deliveries each and every time, to ensure stock is picked to completion, unloaded and stored in an accurate and timely manner whilst meeting Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
