Position Overview: Grant Handling is actively recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover a specified location for sales of both new and used equipment across our range of capital equipment. This role will predominantly target small to medium-sized accounts with a focus on regional business.
Although there is an element of recurring business, this role is focused on new business and business development. We need someone to be active in their area, bringing in new customers to our local depots.
Skills and Experience:
* A background in materials handling or similar capital equipment sales
* Ability to prospect new business to ensure enough leads are generated to meet or exceed agreed unit targets
* Organized and driven with the ability to understand your area, customers, and individual requirements
* Confident demeanor with a focus on building relationships
* Ability to tailor solutions to each customer to resolve problem points during the sales process
* Meet agreed sales targets in terms of unit sales and gross profit
