You’ll play a key role in supporting young people (aged 16-25) with vision impairment and complex needs, helping them develop essential life skills and prepare for their future. About the Role As a Life and Living Skills Support Worker, you’ll: Support young people in our Life and Living Skills Programme, helping them build independence, confidence, and real-world skills. Enable students to make choices about their future, including transitioning to independent or supported living. Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management. Help young people access community services, social opportunities, and leisure activities, especially at weekends. Work within College Residential, where students reside while participating in our programmes. Provide a person-centred approach, ensuring each young person’s needs, aspirations, and choices are supported. You don’t need previous experience in a similar role—we provide full training and support to help you thrive.
