Job Title: Media Executive

Hibernian Football Club is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Media Executive to join the Club's communications department.
Reporting to the Communications Director, the successful candidate will manage the communication requirements and create content for the Club's Academy and Women's Team. The post holder will be required to produce daily content for the website and social media, working home and away Academy and Women's Team matches alongside selected Men's First Team games.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for media and football and will want to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support the communications plan, specifically focusing on the Academy and Women's Team and Club requirements.
* Manage the Hibernian Women's social media accounts.
* Consistently produce high communications output and digital content for Hibernian FC.
* Manage SWPL media requirements in conjunction with the Communications Director.
* Look for media opportunities for the Academy and Women's Team.
* Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising on the quality of work.
* Monitor how supporters and others engage with the Club's website and social media content to gauge its effectiveness and impact.
* Work closely with all members of the wider Communications Team and assist colleagues with other work as required.
* The successful candidate will be required to work home and away Academy matches, Women's Team matches, and selected Men's Team games.

Personal Skills and Experience:
* The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a career within the Communications Department at a Scottish Premiership club.
* The ideal candidate will have a qualification ideally in Journalism, Media, or Public Relations. A minimum of one year's experience in a similar communications role and a passion for sports is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills are needed to create internal and external working relationships while demonstrating a confident and proactive approach to working.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities will be required, especially when faced with unexpected challenges, alongside the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as required by matchdays.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Holidays: 34 days per year including public holidays (Holiday year 1 August to 31 July)

Driving Licence: Not Required (but desirable)
