Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and SCADA systems to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems to enhance efficiency and reliability in pharmaceutical and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and program PLC-based control systems for pharmaceutical and manufacturing equipment. Configure and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and data acquisition. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automation and control systems to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechatronic systems into manufacturing processes. Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Support preventive and corrective maintenance for automation equipment and systems. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions. Document designs, procedures, and technical reports accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Proven experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or equivalent). Proficiency in SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware, WinCC, or similar). Strong understanding of automation protocols and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.). Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing standards (e.g., GMP) is a strong advantage. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and commissioning automation systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively work with diverse teams. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with robotics integration and motion control systems. Familiarity with HMI programming and design. Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
