Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with an outstanding secondary school based in Birmingham. The school is looking for an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Geography.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, design and produce teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability.
* Plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the students to facilitate progression in students’ learning.
* Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of the students assigned.
* Manage the classroom and teaching equipment to create a positive learning environment that makes effective use of available resources.
* Attend meetings, carry out administrative tasks and duties as required.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status or working towards qualification.
* Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
* Track record of delivering ‘outstanding’ teaching.
* Successful delivery of sustained outstanding attainment and achievement.
* Ability to teach to GCSE standard.
* Ability to teach to A Level standard.
* Ability to deliver effective and outstanding learning and teaching in the classroom.
