I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE Deputy Manager to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The service, which is located in Cardiff supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours a week
Contract: Permanent
Shifts: Verious shifts and on call
Location: Cardiff
This is a good opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their career from a Support Worker role, previous management experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

As an Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
Ensuring compliance within the service.
Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
Ensuring the safety of the service users.
Following care plans for each individual.
Taking service users out into the community.
Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements for a Deputy Manager:
NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
Senior Support Worker Experience
Must be resilient.
Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
