Job Description
3. Manage supplier contracts and relationships effectively.
4. Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms and conditions.
5. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
6. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
7. Assist with the development of procurement strategies and plans.
8. Prepare and present reports on contract performance.
9. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Contract Officer should have:
11. Understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
12. Strong negotiation skills.
13. Ability to analyse and interpret contract terms.
14. Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
15. Ability to work effectively in a team.
16. Experience in the not-for-profit sector is beneficial but not essential.
