What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants to work with the pupils and students in our Lower and Upper Schools, to start ASAP.
Working alongside teachers, therapists and other support staff, you will provide support to groups and individuals. You will help to improve their engagement in learning, remove barriers to learning, improve attainment and promote their self-confidence and emotional well-being.
St Dominic’s is able to offer an in-house training programme that allows Teaching Assistants to demonstrate key competencies in order to develop and improve practice and work towards specialisms within the role as well as aspiring to a range of other career opportunities in different disciplines. At St Dominic’s, successful completion of the Teaching Assistant Competency Framework at Level 1 and 2 is linked to pay.
