Key Requirements:
1. Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of taxation, particularly advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and wealth protection structures.
2. Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing engagement, billings, and identifying new opportunities.
3. Expertise in providing private client and trust compliance and advisory services, while utilizing shared service resources effectively.
4. Understanding of risk management within client engagement and the firm's operations.
Leadership & Development:
1. Guide, supervise, and mentor less experienced colleagues, fostering their growth while enhancing your leadership capabilities.
2. Champion continuous improvement by challenging current practices and leading the charge for change.
3. Take ownership of decisions and actions, both for yourself and others, while driving key projects of varying complexity.
4. Support the firm's growth by identifying and capitalizing on business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Degree educated and CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent).
2. Strong track record in managing complex tax advisory services, including succession planning, restructuring, and reviewing intricate UK tax computations and returns.
Your Role in Progressing to Directorship:
1. Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with complex needs, working alongside directors and partners to deliver a personalized, client-focused service.
2. Oversee WIP, recoveries, and billing while ensuring adherence to the firm's quality control procedures.
3. Actively contribute to business development by identifying risks, technical challenges, and opportunities for growth.
