Transport is at the heart of our community – it connects people, gives access to employment and healthcare. It’s much more than simply transport.
Our depots in Inverness, Elgin, Aviemore & Tain are growing, and we’ve got an amazing operations team who now need an Operations Manager to lead them in delivering an incredible service to our customers.
And how will you do that we hear you ask…
1. You’ll manage and develop a team of nearly 200 drivers, supervisors and managers operating local bus services in the Highlands and Moray, as well as express coach services across Scotland.
2. By delivering customer focused, cost-effective operations, laying the foundations for future network growth.
3. Using your amazing interpersonal attributes, you’ll build relationships both internally and externally, developing effective connections with key stakeholders, as well as engaging with the local community.
4. Working in partnership with our local engineering team, ensuring our vehicles are reliable, clean and comfortable.

You don’t need to have worked in the transport sector – although we’re not put off if you do / have!
What we do need is a passion for people, and proven managerial experience. You’ll be leading a large team in all operational matters, and we’ll need to see that you’re comfortable dealing with typical management scenarios.
And strong communication skills are a must – you’ll be developing interpersonal relationships both internally and externally and will need to be able to engage with everyone.
In return we’ll offer a starting salary of £50,000 per annum, a company car and a generous pension as well as a few other fantastic benefits.
